Shireen Zolghadri

Associate Veterinarian

Shireen Zolghadri, "Dr. Z", is originally from Georgia where she attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences. She moved to Colorado to pursue her passion and attend Colorado State University for veterinary school.

After graduating in 2018, she did a 1-year internship at the Piedmont Equine Practice in northern Virginia to learn more about equine and small animal sports medicine, emergency and general practice. Following the internship, she moved back to Colorado where she practiced at a busy mixed animal medicine for over 5 years working on a variety of species for both preventative care and emergency medicine.

She takes special interest in education of clients and veterinary professionals. She has mentored multiple new veterinarians and future veterinarians through teaching at Colorado State University, speaking engagements, and through directly while practicing. Professional interests include surgery, urgent care. Most importantly helping animals and their humans in time of need.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities including: horseback riding with one of her two horses (Sammy and Biscuit), hiking/running with her dog (Dixie), traveling with her husband (Josh) and snowboarding/going to the mountains with friends and family.
